I am still enamored with the idea of a visual novel where the protagonist has one (1) love interest but the routes are separated by your choices and the type of story wildly changes based on the route (like in one route, they're a cool alien, in another they're an escaped prototype robot, in another they're a spy on the run, etc) with the final reveal being the protagonist is the reality-bending creature
